If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR, if special categories of data are processed pursuant to Art. 9(1) GDPR. We use, among others, tools from companies located in the USA or other countries that do not provide an adequate level of data protection. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in these third countries. We point out that in these countries, a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU cannot be guaranteed. For example, U.S. companies are obliged to disclose personal data to security authorities without you being able to legally challenge this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that U.S. authorities (e.g., intelligence services) process, analyze, and permanently store your data located on U.S. servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke a consent already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected.

IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6(1)(E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT IT IS CONNECTED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE USED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION PURSUANT TO ART. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or the location of the alleged infringement. This right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive the data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract, in a common, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller. If you request direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be carried out to the extent technically feasible.

Right to Access, Deletion, and Correction
Under applicable law, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients, and the purpose of processing, and, where applicable, the right to correct or delete this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions regarding personal data, you may contact us at any time.

Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally need time to verify this. During the verification period, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

  • If the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you may request restriction instead of deletion.

  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims, you have the right to request restriction instead of deletion.

  • If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of interests between your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it is not yet determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data may only be processed – apart from storage – with your consent or for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims, for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

SSL or TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as website operators, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. A secure connection can be recognized by the change of the browser address line from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to Advertising Emails
The use of contact data published in accordance with the legal notice obligation for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the site expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.

4. Data Collection on This Website

Cookies
Our website uses so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small data files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until automatic deletion is carried out by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our website (third-party cookies). These allow us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies serve different functions. Many cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., shopping cart function or video display). Other cookies are used to analyze user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies that are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process, for providing certain functions you request (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or for optimizing the website (e.g., cookies to measure web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent for the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.

You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or generally, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

If cookies are used by third parties or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately in this privacy policy and, if applicable, request your consent.

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

A merging of these data with other data sources does not take place.

The collection of these data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website; for this purpose, server log files must be recorded.

Contact Form
If you submit inquiries to us via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. These data will not be shared without your consent.

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), if obtained; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form remain with us until you request their deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after completion of processing your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Inquiry by E-Mail, Telephone, or Fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. These data will not be shared without your consent.

The processing of these data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively handling inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), if obtained; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries remain with us until you request their deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after completion of processing your request). 5. Social Media

Facebook
This website integrates elements of the social network Facebook. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the collected data may also be transferred to the USA and other third countries.

Google Analytics uses technologies that allow the recognition of users for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

IP Anonymization
We have activated IP anonymization on this website. These data come from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third-party providers. These data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section “Objection to Data Collection.”

Storage in the blacklist is indefinite. You may object to this storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

8. Plugins and Tools

YouTube with Enhanced Privacy Mode
This website embeds YouTube videos. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode ensures that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this website before they play the video. However, the enhanced privacy mode does not necessarily exclude the transfer of data to YouTube partners. Thus, YouTube – regardless of whether you play a video – establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network.

Once you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can directly link your browsing behavior to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube may store various cookies on your device or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting) after starting a video. This allows YouTube to collect information about visitors to this website. These data are used, among other things, to generate video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraud.

Additional data processing may occur once a YouTube video is started, over which we have no control.

The use of YouTube serves the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If consent has been obtained, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

More information about privacy on YouTube can be found in their Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Fonts (Local Hosting)
This site uses Google Fonts for uniform font display, provided by Google. The Google Fonts are locally hosted. No connection to Google servers occurs.

More information about Google Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps service. Provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

To use the features of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. These data are generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The operator of this site has no influence on this data transfer. When Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Fonts to ensure uniform display of fonts. When accessing Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into its cache to correctly display texts and fonts.

The use of Google Maps serves the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings and ease of finding locations indicated on our website.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission. Details are available here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.

More information on handling user data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. Provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

reCAPTCHA is used to verify whether data entries on this website (e.g., in a contact form) are made by a human or an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various features. This analysis starts automatically when the website visitor accesses the site. reCAPTCHA evaluates various information for the analysis (e.g., IP address, duration of stay on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis are transmitted to Google.

9. Audio and Video Conferencing

Data Processing
For communication with our customers, we use various online conferencing tools. The tools we use are listed below. If you communicate with us via video or audio conferencing over the internet, your personal data are collected and processed by us and the provider of the respective conferencing tool.

The conferencing tools collect all data you provide or use to utilize the tools (email address and/or telephone number). Additionally, the conferencing tools process the duration of the conference, start and end times, number of participants, and other “contextual information” related to the communication (metadata).

Furthermore, the provider of the tool processes all technical data required for conducting online communication. This includes, in particular, IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or speaker, and connection type.

If content is exchanged, uploaded, or otherwise provided within the tool, it is also stored on the servers of the tool provider. Such content includes, in particular, cloud recordings, chat/instant messages, voicemails, uploaded photos and videos, files, whiteboards, and other information shared during the use of the service.

Please note that we do not have full control over the data processing operations of the tools used. Our options are primarily determined by the company policies of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conferencing tools can be found in the privacy policies of the tools we use, which are listed below.

Purpose and Legal Basis
The conferencing tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners or to provide specific services to our customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Furthermore, the use of the tools serves to simplify and expedite communication with us or our company (legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If consent has been obtained, the use of the respective tools is based on this consent; consent can be revoked at any time with future effect.

Retention Period
Data directly collected by us via video and conferencing tools are deleted from our systems as soon as you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to exist. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

We have no influence on the retention period of your data stored by the providers of the conferencing tools for their own purposes. For details, please refer directly to the providers’ privacy policies.
